Family Autism Pickleball Night (SCC), Monday, April 21 from 5-7pm at Chicken ‘N Pickle, 1500 S. Main, 63303. Come join us for an inclusive, free pickleball event where individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, and caregivers can enjoy a fun-filled, supportive space to play, connect, and create lasting memories together. Fearless Day (SCC) – FREE, Saturday, April 26 from 10am-1pm at Westoff Park, 699 Sheppard Drive, O’Fallon, MO 63366. The Jabari Fearless Foundation is thrilled to invite you to the 1st Annual Fearless Fun Day, a special celebration in honor of Autism Awareness Month. This is more than just a gathering – it’s a day of fun, freedom, and connection for our amazing community. Parent Workshop: Understanding Your Sensory Child (SCC) – FREE, Tuesday, April 29 from 7:30-9:00PM at Leaps and Bounds, 324 Jungermann Road, St. Peters, MO 63376. Join us for this free parent seminar as our occupational therapists share strategies and offer insight into behaviors resulting from sensory processing difficulties in areas such as attention, learning, behavior, motor skills, feeding skills, social skills, and emotional development. BCI Spring Open House (SCC) – FREE, Wednesday, April 23, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the St. Peters facility at 200 Trade Center Drive in St. Peters. This year’s event will feature an all-new tour experience, with multiple tour stops offering unique insights into our diverse programs and services. Events for Everyone…

Stitch ‘n B***h – Fiber Arts Club (SCC) – FREE, Thursday, April 17 from 6-8 PM at Foundry Art Centre, St. Charles, MO (map). Stitch ‘n Bitch with us during the Foundry’s new FREE fiber crafts club. Bring your stitching project from knitting, to embroidery, to crochet and beyond. This is not a class, but a crafters club to meet others interested in fiber arts. Historic St. Charles Lighting of Lanterns (SCC), Friday, April 18 from 5-6:30pm at the St. Charles County Historical Society,101 S. Main St.Saint Charles, MO 63301. We will join historic sites and state houses across the nation in lighting two lights to commemorate  the 250th anniversary of “two if by sea” and Paul Revere’s midnight ride which took place April 18, 1775. After the lantern lighting and a public reading of the famous poem “Paul Revere’s Ride” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, we will enjoy light refreshments of patriotic treats and drinks together. Dardenne Prairie Inclusive Easter Egg Hunt (SCC) – FREE, Saturday, April 19 with timed hunts from 10-11:30am at Dardenne Prairie City Hall, 2032 Hanley Rd, 63368. Egg hunts for all children ages 0-10 begin at 10am, with specialized hunts for those with disabilities beginning at 11am. Enjoy entertainment including a balloon artist, juggler, and magian. Food trucks are available for food purchases if desired. FREE, but Registration is Required

Hiking and Hops (SCC), April 25 from 3-4:30pm at Lindenwood Boone Home Historic Site, 1868 Highway F, Defiance, MO, 63341. Explore the abundance of wild plant foods that sprout in spring and sample their flavors in local craft brews at Hiking and Hops at The Historic Daniel Boone Home. Parks staff take participants on a short plant identification hike, followed by a tasting of craft beers from Sandy Valley Brewing infused with foraged flavors. Participants must be 21 and up. Hikers should bring a water bottle, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and dress for the weather. This program takes place at the Vanbibber property located at 2068 Hwy F in Defiance. Pre-registration is required.
